BFA AUDITIONS-MUSICAL THEATRE

Tom was such a help to me!  He helped me chose the perfect audition songs that showcased my voice.  Tom also helped me pick monologues that were just right for my personality.  Tom took so much time to go over all my pieces that after many hard hours of work, I felt very prepared for all of my auditions. Since the auditions were spread out over a few months, they worked with me frequently in between auditions to keep my pieces performance ready.   I felt comfortable about every audition that I took.  He is a  very talented  and we worked wonderfully together to make my audition pieces the best that they could have been.  I am pleased to say that I am attending Muhlenberg in the fall of 2006 and I know I owe my much of my success to Tom’s help”

Auditioning for colleges is very stressful.  I believe the key to my
success was the fact that I worked with Tom.  Not only did I feel completely prepared, but I also felt extremely confident because I knew that I had received the best audition training possible.

Tom takes the time to get to know you. He will work with your strengths and weaknesses.

College auditioners are not only looking at talent, but are also looking for smart,  confident performers who make strong choices.

These are only a few of the
lessons that I learned from working with Tom. Most of all, Tom taught me to believe in myself. Now being in the Musical Theatre department
at The Boston Conservatory, I noticed how polished I was during my
auditioning days. Tom is dedicated to making your experience a
theatrical one!

"Beginning the college auditioning process can be very
nerve wracking. However, having Tom help me and pick out material that was perfect for me really helped me
feel confident going into my auditions. Many of the
schools I auditioned at told me that I had picked
material that was perfect for my personality and that
I was extremely prepared. Tom helped me really connect
to the characters and create my own interpretation of
the pieces. He has been so supportive throughout this
whole process."

“Tom and I worked incredibly well together. He helped me   picked out my up tempo and ballad, and creatively stage them.   Tom also picked out my
monologues.  There would have been no chance of me getting into my top
choice if I hadn’t been as prepared as I was. I can sincerely say my success thus far is directly connected with
Tom. I would have never been accepted to California Institute of the Arts for the Fall of 2006 if I had not gone through this process.

“Beginning the college audition process is a very stressful thing for any high school student to do, but Tom very quickly put me at ease.  His expertise helped me to navigate the complex world of auditions; he helped me pick out the perfect songs and monologues for me and staged them brilliantly.  Most importantly, he constantly kept in touch through email and coaching sessions throughout the audition season, making sure my material constantly improved.  He gave me the confidence I needed to be successful throughout the season, and, thanks to his help, I'm now a proud student at SUNY Fredonia.”

Some words from Kiernan’s Parents

“Thank God for Tom! As parents of a high school junior interested in pursuing Musical Theatre as a college major and profession, my wife and I had absolutely no idea where to start or what the process would entail. All we knew was that we needed help. Tom understood our concerns and answered all our questions putting us at ease.

Tom was a godsend in helping us navigate the difficult, competitive and often confusing waters of the college audition process. Not only was he able to provide our son with guidance on song & monologue selection, blocking of monologues and how to prepare and act at auditions – but his encouraging, positive feedback lifted our son’s confidence as well.

Thanks to Tom, our son walked into each and every audition feeling strong and confident, knowing he had done everything possible to prepare. Without Tom’s help, our son would not be where we is today – pursuing his dream and studying MT in a top ranked east-coast program.”
